Have you considered self-hosting your newsletter? Platforms like Mailchimp and Substack make it easy to get started but it's a lot cheaper to self-host. Of course that means you trade some of your time for that saving.

There are options like Ghost (open-source) and Sendy (one-time fee) that are pretty popular and many more in the article below. If you'd rather be in complete control of your audience it's worth exploring.
